Ji Won Yang Solo Exhibition

Loss arrives without warning, changing the landscape of life. Through her own parting, artist Yang Ji Won faced the finitude of life, and amid this loss, she found in the journey of Fubao a mirror through which to look deeply into her own self.

The exhibition follows the artist's path — beginning from 'Empty Hands', the bare emotion of loss, through 'Winter', the tunnel of grief and trial, toward a hill of rapeseed blossoms in bloom and 'Rapeseed Cloud'. Along the way, she grows steady in the lavender wind, and through the small fragments of happiness and 'Summer Sunset', she traces the strength to move forward once again.

In this exhibition, the artist shares the journey of finding her own shining star — through 'Pooya', a self-portrait holding her years of loss, love, and growth, and 'First Star', the first light she carefully drew up from the dark.
